FETE DE LA MUSIQUE
i found myself walking around eastwood with a friend on a saturday afternoon.it was already 4:30 pm. we went inside mcdo , have some snack, and cool down. while nibbling on my fries, i saw this guy wearing a black shirt with the words of jose ma. sison[the communist]at the back of his shirt. what the fuck! and this guy was looking at the menu of mcafe.hmm.tsktsktsk.nevermind.
then we went to the parking lot just behind mcdo.Grass was already playing their 2nd song.wow nice crowd--some conyo looking rock listeners and some slammers and don't forget the poseurs.there were lots of great bands that afternoon. i really like the performances of 13 Needles, Weedisneys, Olympic Smoker,and Monkey Spank.it was already getting dark and it started to drizzle when the parking lot was already jam-packed with rockers.the mosh went wilder and wilder. i saw this conyo girl who was smoking and when the slam started,she went ah-eh-ouch-what-the-fuck and her burning cig went flying over the crowd. haha poor girl.after greyhoundz' performance, we went back to mcdo to meet another friend then look for some crayons. we went to 7-11 and lots of rocker were inside.if not for my good heart, i shoud have put a bunch of chocolate bars in side my pockets. then i saw 2 guys behind me crushing the chocolates on the rack.hehe
it was already 9 so we went to the central plaza for the official opening. after looking for a good spot to watch the show, we enjoyed the music of cynthia alexander.wow she's really a great artist!after her performance, we went back to the rock stage to watch the mongols.
yeah..the mongols , so wina started to join the slam.[kaya nababatukan e..haha] immediately after listening to the mongols, we went to via mare to listen to reggae and ska music.people were already waiting outside the resto. and after more or less 30 minutes of waiting, finally, they let the people in.the stage was in the 2nd floor of via mare. the 2nd for was really not enough to accommodate all those who want to listen to reggae/ska music. but fortunately, after a very sweaty journey through the crowd and the stairs, i got a clear view of the performers and enough space to sway away. Homegrown was already playing that time and i missed CoffeBreakIsland's performance. Wow! Via Mare turned into a sauna while the rasta people felt like sardines inside that very small place!hehe
DAMN! it started raining hard! we had a bad time looking for a place to stay until the rain stops. there's no more vacant tables or seats inside any coffe shop or resto [unless we decide to stay inside a club of ravers.nyaha!]so we went inside cybermall and just ate at zuppa cafe.nyaha.
alas,the rain stopped!we went back to the central plaza. all we found were the ruins of the main stage.[waha d naman]too bad.and i found out that radioactive sago project didn't get to finish their set because the rain was so strong and the stage and equipment were too faulty. darn. so the rest of the fete was cancelled too bad!!!
i was very sleepy.after about two hours of watching all those conyos going here and there, katty went home with ate kitty. i was left with "animated" wina and we stayed in front of mcdo. then i bought this ep from a weird guy who was asking about smoking, doobie, etcetera.weird. at least i find their ep good. their music is like coldplay's. speaking of weird, wina was so weird..hahhaha.nevermind.
wow.2 hours of just sitting and feeling the very cold breeze.shiver.
finally by 5 am we went home.then by 7 am , i was already sleeping after being awake for more than 30 hrs.
