IMAGINATION
read this from a book....
Man is this night, this empty nothing, which contains everything in its undivided simplicity; a richness of an infinite number of representations, of images, of which none comes precisely to his spirit or which are not in so far as really-present. It is this night, the interiority which exists here: -the pure personal self. In the fantasmagorical representations it is night all aorund, here arises sudenly a bleeding head, there another white apparition, and they disappear just as suddenly. It is his night that is seen in looking into a man's eyes, looking into a night which becomes terrible; it is the night of the world w/c is presented to us. the power of drawing from this night images or of letting them fall: position of autonomy, interior consciousness, acion.
